I have been playing with a new Triquint ULNA device (TQP3M9036). It
Shows a lot of promise. It is like a MAR or MSA device in that it is
50ohm in and out. and has a claimed NF about .4db nf ( their numbers).
I have built several pramps to test them and have gotten even better
than they claim and they cover 50-1296 with ease and NF is .4ish or
below. The S11 and S22 are both great and the OIP3 is +35db also
...very nice device. It has great promise as a good terrestrial LNA.
Preamps are foolproof to build and would cost under $50 if all the best
quality parts are used.

Hi all,
I’m ready on 6cm with the same dish I’m using on 3cm.
Despite the strong local 5 GHz WiFi noise, had a nice 579/569 first QSO with this setup today with HB9Q, thank you Dan !
Setup is a 3.7m dish and 60W at CP feeder.
I can be QRV on 6cm or 3cm most of the days, skeds and tests are very welcome, as usual.

Hello to Lunatics.
Owners of RAS 1deg. and RAS 0.5 deg. rotators and Rot2Prog controllers
can try my free Ras Moon Tracker program.
Program was fully tested with RAS 1deg. rotator by me, because I have
it and use it.
Program can be downloaded here :

Program do not required any installation, open archive and extract
program folder to ur C:\ or any other drive.

I stumbled on this site and discovered interresting things.
2m Dual-RX (Special RX converter for 2m adaptive (EME) receiving)
http://www.ha1ya.hu/htmkepek/dual_rx.htm
ME2-XP 2m dual RX (EME) transverter (The first dual RX color display
transverter on the World!)
http://www.ha1ya.hu/htmkepek/me2xp_spec.htm
Does anyone have feedback from one of these 2 devices?
It sounds interesting but I'm looking for someone who has this kind of
device to exchange feedback, especially with the use of MAP65 (setup -
configuration).

After using WSJT V9 for a few years I recently started using WSJT-X as a
second decoder. Sometimes it is better, sometimes not. It has the advantage
that it decodes when one station is calling another (V9 only does this for
strong stations).
One issue I am having is that the Average window in X sometimes shows
stations that I decoded way earlier...sometimes an hour or more earlier and
on a different frequency.
If I click Clear Avg or double-click Erase, the window clears. But a while
later, old decodes once again start to show up in the Average window.
V9 does not have this problem.
I have been using V2.0...today I moved to V2.1.2 and maybe that will be
better. Waiting for MR here.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior?
Does anyone know if that was a bug in the earlier version and fixed in
2.1.2 or can some one suggest what setting I may have set incorrectly?
Thanks & 73,
Doug K1DG
GM All:
Thanks for all the patience shown by all those I worked and tried to
work! I seem to be heard well considering power at 300W but am hobbled
by (what I believe to be) Urban noise floor.
Manged to make a few QSO regardless.
How are folks dealing with getting a Cabrillo log file from WSJT10 text
files?
I see a .db file in the WSJT folder as well but wonder what opens it aor
ar you just converting the text to ADI and then to Cabrillo?
Many years ago I recall a small utility that was created for conversion
but cannot seem to find it now.
Is this problem one of many solved in WSJT-X?
Awaiting Serge's evaluation on X v. 10 decodes but most of what I have
seen is they are equal within a margin of error one way or another.
Thanks to all,
Curt

Hi All,
Thanks for a fantastic weekend on the moon! First leg i wasn't QRV, but second leg i did a whole weekend on the radio. The equipment worked and activity was plenty! Many USA stations were active. Last week i prepared the LZ5HP transverter with a 10MHz GPS reference and a little driver PA so my signal would not drift anymore the way it did with the FT736. It did the job and finally all signals come in and out as vertical lines :-)
I had a little overhaul/checkup of the septum feed and the feedlines and after 6 years of 23cm EME operation it's all seem to stay in good shape. With freezing temperature at night, the bearings of my elevation pendulum were freezing up, so the dish tended to go too high in elevation. time for a "digital inclinometer".
Thanks for the nice 81 qso's:
